Job Title: Aircraft Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to perform heavy maintenance and modifications on fixed wing military aircraft. The role involves working with cutting-edge technology to support the mission of protecting the American Warfighter. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform C-Checks & Service Life Extension Programs on military aircraft, which are more extensive than D-Checks.
• Conduct necessary modifications during maintenance operations.
• Work on various airframes including PC-12 (Military Designation U-28), Dornier 328, A-29 'Super Tucano', and Dash 8 (Q200/Q300/Q400).

Essential Skills

• Possession of an A&P License.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Ownership of tools with a shadowed toolbox and tools etched or colored by Day 1.
• Stable job history.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with heavy maintenance or depot level work is preferred.
• Interest in long-term career opportunities.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, FAA-regulated hangar. Shifts vary depending on the hangar and program, with flexibility needed for possible night shifts. Most of the workforce operates on day shifts, with overtime regularly available though not guaranteed weekly. The contract is long-term and open-ended, with the potential for direct employment after a year. Full medical benefits and six paid sick days are available through the contractor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Englewood, CO.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
