Job Title: Assembler Job Description

The Assembler I will perform duties associated with electro-mechanical and clean room device assembly and packaging. This role requires manual hand assembly skills, attention to detail, initiative, teamwork, and the ability to produce consistently high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations including compliance with Medical Device Quality Standards.
  • Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental policies and procedures (DOPs), objectives, the quality assurance program, as well as safety and environmental standards.
  • Establish, build, and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of staff, clients, and suppliers.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail and meet deadlines.
  • Learn new equipment and processes quickly and demonstrate proficiency in their operation.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures, complying with their requirements.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitoring own work to ensure quality.
  • Practice and advocate good safety skills at all times.
Essential Skills
  • 2 plus years of medical device assembly experience.
  • Diploma.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to operate electrical and mechanical equipment and interpret results.
  • Ability to work well with others in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work and to detect issues with tooling, materials, processes, and quality.
  • Read, interpret, and learn engineering drawings, manufacturing procedures, and inspection procedures.
  • Ability to work on a computer with various programs to transact products within the production system and complete online training.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing and demonstrate active listening.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in cleanroom production environments.
  • Proficiency with mechanical assembly and hand tools.

Work Environment

The role is based in a cleanroom/production setting, operating on a 4/10 schedule from Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
