**Job Title: Assistant Property Manager - Affordable Housing**

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of the property, providing excellent service to residents, and maintaining compliance with regulations related to affordable housing. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the property, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.
- Respond to resident inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner, providing superior customer service.
- Help maintain occupancy by conducting property tours, facilitating lease signings, and assisting with marketing efforts.
- Support rent collection processes, including processing payments and addressing late payments, in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in the screening and selection of prospective residents, ensuring compliance with all applicable affordable housing guidelines and regulations.
- Assist in conducting regular property inspections to ensure that the community is maintained to a high standard.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow-up to ensure timely completion.
- Help prepare and maintain necessary documentation and reports related to property operations and resident affairs.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to implement community programs and events aimed at enhancing resident engagement and satisfaction.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in property management, preferably within affordable housing, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse population.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of affordable housing regulations and compliance is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in property management, real estate, or related field is a plus.
