Job Description

The Cleanroom Assembler sets up production lines and uses hand and power tools to assemble window frames in a cleanroom environment. This role requires precise measuring, consistent quality, and the ability to follow detailed instructions while working a full-time first-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Set up production lines in the cleanroom according to established procedures and work instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to assemble window frames.
  • Read and interpret tape measurements accurately to ensure components meet required specifications.
  • Inspect assembled components for quality, accuracy, and consistency, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with cleanroom standards.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or defects to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Support production goals by working efficiently and meeting daily output targets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operations.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
  • Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Comfort with using hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime, including 50+ hours per week as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Capability to work on your feet for extended periods in a production setting.
  • Reliability and punctuality to support consistent first-shift operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with medical assembly or working in a cleanroom environment is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools beyond tape measures is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment.

Work Environment

This role is based in Fairfield, OH, in a cleanroom production environment focused on assembling window frames. The position follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the expectation of working overtime, often exceeding 50 hours per week. You will regularly use hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other measuring tools while standing and moving throughout the shift. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and quality standards, with a structured workflow and clearly defined procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
