Job Description

We are a growing organization that partners with nonprofit organizations and community-based programs to support public engagement, outreach initiatives, fundraising campaigns, and awareness events throughout the community.

We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Community Outreach Assistant to join our expanding team. This position is ideal for individuals interested in launching a career in community outreach, nonprofit engagement, event coordination, communications, public relations, or marketing.

In this role, you will help connect communities with meaningful programs through live events, outreach campaigns, and public engagement initiatives.

No prior experience is required. We provide paid training, hands-on mentorship, and clear advancement opportunities for motivated individuals eager to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with community outreach campaigns and nonprofit awareness initiatives
  • Support the planning and execution of live events and public engagement activities
  • Engage with community members in a professional, friendly, and informative manner
  • Educate the public about nonprofit programs, fundraising campaigns, and community resources
  • Help coordinate outreach activities at event venues, retail locations, and community sites
  • Assist with event setup, registration, logistics, and breakdown
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach interactions and campaign participation
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve outreach and engagement goals
  • Represent nonprofit partners and community programs professionally at all times
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, leadership workshops, and team development meetings

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, event-based environments
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Customer service, retail, hospitality, marketing, volunteer, or event experience is a plus but not required
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • Outgoing personality and passion for community involvement preferred
