Job Description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Design Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Littleton, CO surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $68.51

**US Citizenship is required.**

**Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.**

As a Circuit Design Engineer, you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art Avionics product in a world-class Integrated Product Development environment.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Design/Capture electrical schematics and guide the PCB board layouts.
• Perform electrical worst-case analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
• Work on a cross-functional team in the developmentand integration ofworld-class avionics systems.
• Resolve test anomalies and troubleshoot, and generation, review and presentation ofProduct Certification, and alsosupport system-level testing.

Basic Hiring Criteria:  

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in digital circuit design at the card/board level schematic andanalysis.
• Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
• Experience in different phases of the aerospace hardware development cycle.
• Experience interacting with peers, management andgovernment customers.
• Experience in presentations and inwritten communication skills.
• Missile design experience.
• 3+ years professional experience.

Desired Qualifications: 

• Experience with a combination of design, test, operations andsystems engineering disciplines.
• Experience in schematic capture using Xpedition or similar tools.
• Experience with PSPICE, Saber orother electronics simulation tools.
• Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).
• Experience performing failure Investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).
• Demonstrated goodcommunication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors andcustomers.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Adaptable to new situations and demonstrate self-initiative in solving complex problems.
• Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
