EXPERIENCED RN Pediatric Home Care – Urgent Cases | Lakeland, FL

Family First HomeCare is hiring compassionate RNs for urgent pediatric home care cases throughout the Lakeland area. We have an immediate need for experienced pediatric home care nurses, especially those with high-acuity skills. Day, night, weekend, and PRN shifts available.

HIGH ACUITY (TRACH / VENT / COMPLEX CARE)

Lakeland

• URGENT: Fri–Sun Days (7A–7P) | Preschooler | G-tube + Trach + Vent
• URGENT: Every Other Saturday Nights (8P–6A) | Infant | G-tube + Trach + Vent
• PRN Case: Toddler | G-tube + Mild Hearing Loss + O₂ + Non-Invasive Vent

North Lakeland

• URGENT: Mon–Sun Nights (7P–7A) + Sat & Sun Days (7A–7P) | Toddler | Failure to Thrive + G-tube | Verbal & Ambulatory
• URGENT: Fri Days + Weekend Days | Preschooler | Microcephaly + G-tube

Eagle Lake

• URGENT: Mon–Thurs Nights (6P–6A) (Must be available for all four overnight shifts) | Adolescent | Cerebral Palsy + G-tube + O₂ + Seizure Management

MODERATE ACUITY (G-TUBE / OXYGEN / SEIZURES / MOBILITY)

Winter Haven

• URGENT: Wed, Sat & Sun Nights + Weekend Days | Infant | Congenital Cardiac Anomaly + G-tube + Pulse Ox
• No additional nurses currently | Infant | Down Syndrome + Cardiac Diagnosis + O₂ + Medication Administration

Bartow

• URGENT: Sun Days + Tues/Thurs Nights | Infant | Agenesis of Lung + G-tube + O₂

Polk City

• PRN Weekend Days | Infant | TBI + G-tube + Seizures

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Florida RN license
• Pediatric or home care experience preferred
• Trach/Vent experience required for high-acuity cases
• Reliable, dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 60 days   
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Must have reliable transportation
