Job Description

Salary: $90,000 - 179,400 per year Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of programming experience in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada (or a similar combination of technical education and experience)
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Software Engineer
  • Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution (preferred)
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts
  • Experience in the defense or avionics sector (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage several concurrent responsibilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document, and uphold architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
  • Code and integrate software components into a fully operational software system
  • Assist in the development of simulation environments to facilitate testing conducted by Mission Systems engineers
  • Collaborate with an Agile team to achieve collective objectives
  • Execute and document software research and development projects
  • Operate under general guidance in a 100% onsite capacity
