Job Description

We are seeking an experienced framing carpenter to join our team for an upcoming wood-frame construction project in Wyoming, MI. This is a temporary project expected to last 2-3 months and offers the opportunity to work on a fast-paced commercial construction site.

• Install wood framing components according to project plans.
• Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials.
• Build walls, floors, roof systems, and other structural components.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow all safety procedures and job site requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with the construction team to meet project deadlines.

• Previous framing carpentry experience required.
• Experience with wood-frame construction preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and construction drawings.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Strong work ethic and commitment.

• Knowledge of carpentry, construction, and framing.
• Experience in finish carpentry, concrete, drywall, and rough carpentry.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Experience with commercial construction, metal stud installation, doors, trim work, and cabinetry.

The project involves working on a commercial construction site in Wyoming, MI. The work is physically demanding and requires operating hand and power tools. This is a Contract position based out of Jenison, MI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
