Job Description

Join our team as a Medical Assembler, where you'll play a crucial role in assembling various medical devices. This position involves using hand tools and microscopes, requiring precision and the ability to learn complex processes quickly. You will work under a microscope, cross-train at different stations, and handle small components with care.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical devices using hand tools and microscopes.
  • Cross-train at different assembly stations.
  • Handle small components and parts with precision.
  • Work under a microscope for detailed assembly tasks.
  • Inspect assembled products for quality assurance.
  • Participate in weekly overtime as required.
Essential Skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Great hand dexterity for precise assembly.
  • Ability to understand measurements using rulers and calipers.
  • Capability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work overtime.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferably 6 months+ of experience in medical assembly or other forms of manufacturing/assembly.
  • Experience with microscope and cleanroom environments.
  • Motivation to learn and take direction effectively.

Work Environment

Experience a full cleanroom environment at a leading medical device company. You will be required to wear a hair net, gown, booties, and wash your hands before entering the cleanroom. The dress code prohibits nail polish, long fake nails, makeup, fragrances, henna tattoos, and pants with holes. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.25/hr.
