Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA- Onsite

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Strong AWS experience, ideally including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and/or AWS GovCloud.
• Hands-on Kubernetes operations experience, including cluster upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Harness, Argo CD, GitOps, or similar tools.
• Container experience with Docker.
• Production incident response and on-call support experience.
• Strong scripting or software engineering ability, preferably Python, Bash, or similar.

Preferred

• FedRAMP High, IL-5, GovCloud, or other regulated cloud environment experience.
• DevSecOps and compliance automation experience.
• Observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar.
• Load testing and performance engineering experience.
• Experience supporting microservices in production.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate and improve Kubernetes-based cloud platform services.
• Perform Kubernetes cluster upgrades, maintenance, and incident remediation.
• Build automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based delivery workflows.
• Partner with Compliance and SecOps teams to meet FedRAMP High / IL-5 requirements.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational repeatability.
• Participate in on-call rotation for platform and application services.
