Meet the team :

Dexcom is seeking a highly skilled Lead Comms Specialist Enterprise Communications with deep expertise in internal communications for manufacturing supply chain and global operations teams . This role is ideal for a communicator who understands the unique challenges of reaching frontline manufacturing employeesacross multiple sites shifts languages and regionsand can design communication strategies that meet people where they are.

This individual will serve as a strategic partner to leaders across Global Operations and the executive team using strong executive presence and exceptional storytelling abilities to strengthen alignment engagement and a shared sense of purpose across Dexcoms global workforce.

You will help shape the employee experience for thousands ofoperations-basedemployees by building communication systems that are accessible relevant and actionablewhether employees are on the production floor working in a clean room or driving operational impact across global manufacturing sites .

Where you come in :

  • You will d evelop and leadenterprise-wideinternal communication strategies with a specific focus onmanufacturing supply chain and global operations teams . You lead communication efforts across Dexcoms global manufacturing network ensuring alignment across time zones cultural norms and regional requirements.

  • You c reate scalablemultisitecommunication plans that effectively reachshift-basedandnon-deskemployees ensuring clarity consistency and accessibility.

  • You partner directly with business partners and senior leadersincluding Operations HR and Executive Leadershipto craftcompelling clear and confident messagingfor business updates change initiatives cultural moments and strategic priorities.

  • You p repare executives forsitevisits town halls and manufacturingfocused engagement moments with talking points scripts and communication coaching.

  • You design communications tailored for production environments using channels such as digital signagemobile friendlycontent managercascade toolslinesidebriefings andfacility-basedengagement programs.

  • You build communication frameworks that support safety quality productivity and operational culture.

  • You own and manage a portfolio of communication channels including the intranet newsletters Viva Engage communities manager toolkits andsite-basedplatforms.

  • You produce a wide range ofhigh-qualitycontent: executive messages operations updates video scripts presentations articles and storytelling pieces that highlight operational excellence and employeeimpact.

  • You track communication effectiveness using data andsite levelfeedback analyzing trends to enhance reach and impactespecially fornon-deskaudiences.

  • You s tay informed on best practices for frontline communications operations storytelling and global engagement strategies.

  • You have progressive experience in internal communications preferably within industries with large manufacturing or operational workforces .

  • You have p roven success creating communication strategies for frontline non-desk andshift-basedteams .

  • You have s ignificant experience developing communications for global operations including multisite andmultiregionalenvironments.

  • You bring s trong executive presence with the ability to influence advise and present to senior leaders.

  • You d emonstrate experience supporting executives with messaging tone and strategic communication counsel.

  • You have e xpertise with internal communication platforms such as SharePoint Viva Engage and digital signage.

  • You possess o utstanding writing editing and storytelling skills across formats and channels.

  • You show a bility to manage multiple complex projects prioritize effectively and adapt to evolving needs.

Travel Required:

  • 5-15%

Experience and Education Requirements: Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience. At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
