Job Description

Position Details:

• Drivers will pickup loads of turkeys in livehaul trailers from farms ranging from 5 miles from processing plant to 280 miles from processing plant.
• Driver will not be responsible for loading or unloading of the turkeys at the farms.
• Upon arrival to the farms, the drivers park and are not needed to get out of their tractor.
  • Once they are loaded and the load has been secured, they will return to the processing plant and check in at the guard shack where they will be directed on where to drop the load.
• On average, a driver will run only 1 load per day unless picking up from local farms.
• Account will provide 4 on-site managers to assist drivers 24/7.
• Running area is 280-mile radius around West Liberty, IA
• Sunday to Thursday schedule
• Afternoon or Evening start time
• Home Daily
• $77,600 to $97,000 per year
• Must have at least 3 months tractor-trailer experience

Special Requirements:

• Work boot reimbursement up to $75 per year
• Drivers required to take live haul safety training at the account

Truck Info:

• Daycabs - automatics
• Personal Protective Equipment Furnished
• Truck must remain at the account during time off
• Passengers are not permitted
