Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
• Over 1 year of experience in:
• - Involvement with extracurricular projects designing and constructing mechanical structures
• - Academic research related to mechanical structures
• - Professional experience in designing and analyzing mechanical structures
• Understanding and application of GD&T
• Familiarity with Unigraphics (NX)
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA)
• Knowledge in large steel and/or aluminum weldment design and analysis
• Experience in high pressure fluid system design (up to 30,000 psi)
• Hands-on design and fabrication experience
• Basic programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS preferred
• Experience in data acquisition and controls
• Proven track record of driving projects to successful completion

• Develop test stand concepts, fabrication drawings, wiring schematics, and instrumentation lists
• Design and evaluate structures, fluid systems, and mechanisms
• Oversee the integration of test stands, including fabrication, mechanical assembly, and data/control systems
• Operate test stands meticulously, ensuring strict adherence to detail due to minimal margin for error
