ResponsibilitiesThe Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Associate’s degree.
Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
