Friendship Hospital for Animals, a leading AAHA- accredited hospital located in Washington D.C. is seeking a Multi-Purpose Veterinary Assistant (MPA) to join our Specialty and Emergency Hospital Team! If you are just beginning your career in veterinary medicine and are eager to learn everything you can from our phenomenal medical team in a fast-paced environment – we’d love to meet you!
About the role:
As an MPA, you will support veterinarians and technicians in delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient hospital environment. As this is considered an introductory role, you can look forward to learning some of the following, among others:
The goal of this role is to provide an introduction into specialty veterinary medicine and as you gain experience, find you a permanent department after 90 days.
Schedule: This is a full-time position. Five 8-hour shifts per week. Schedule dependent upon rotation.
