Pharmacy Technician (Full-Time)

We take pride in knowing our patients by name and offering the kind of service that big-box pharmacies can’t match. We’re looking for a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our close-knit team.

No pharmacy experience? No problem. We’re willing to train the right person who is dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys helping others.

Position Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician at Potter Drug, you’ll play an important role in helping patients manage their prescriptions and healthcare needs. You’ll work closely with pharmacists and team members in a fast-paced but supportive environment while delivering excellent customer service to our community.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input and process prescription orders
• Assist patients with questions and product information
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and organization
• Support pharmacists with day-to-day operations
• Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional customer service
• Help keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to stay focused in a busy environment
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8-hour shifts will vary within open hours)
• Some Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (approximately 2 Saturdays per month)
• This position is based at our Petersburg location
• No nights or regular weekends

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($18-21/hr until certification is obtain)
