Job Description

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Clayton, North Carolina patient service center. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient data, and delivering customer service on a weekend schedule (Friday-Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect patient payments as required
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 6+ months phlebotomy experience
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation; ability to travel to additional sites
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
