Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) — Ketamine Infusion Therapy

Company: Claritiv Health

Location: Windsor Commons, 468 N. Parkway, Jackson, TN 38305

Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 per year + equity opportunity

Schedule: Monday to Friday — No nights, no weekends, no call

About Claritiv Health

Claritiv Health is a new ketamine infusion therapy clinic opening in Jackson, Tennessee this fall. We’re building something different — a calm, patient-focused environment where psychiatric care meets cutting-edge treatment. Our mission is to bring accessible, evidence-based ketamine therapy to West Tennessee for patients with treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, anxiety, chronic pain, and other qualifying conditions.

We operate under a Tennessee-compliant MSO/Professional Corporation structure with full administrative and operations support already in place — so you can focus entirely on clinical care.

The Role

We’re hiring our founding PMHNP to lead clinical operations from day one. This is not a mid-level role buried in a system — this is a ground-floor leadership position with real clinical autonomy, equity ownership in the Professional Corporation, and the opportunity to shape every protocol, workflow, and patient experience from scratch.

You’ll work under a collaborative practice agreement with our supervising physician. We also welcome NPs who bring an existing collaborating physician relationship.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments for ketamine treatment candidacy
  • Develop individualized ketamine treatment plans (dosing, frequency, monitoring protocols)
  • Administer and supervise IV and IM ketamine infusions
  • Monitor patients during and after infusion sessions (vitals, psychological response, adverse reactions)
  • Manage patient follow-up, treatment adjustments, and discharge planning
  • Maintain thorough clinical documentation in Osmind EHR
  • Collaborate with supervising physician on complex cases, chart reviews, and quality standards
  • Coordinate with patients’ existing mental health providers and primary care physicians
  • Help establish clinical protocols, safety checklists, and quality improvement standards
  • Ensure compliance with DEA, Tennessee Board of Nursing, and all applicable regulations

QualificationsRequired:

  • Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
  • Active Tennessee APRN license (or ability to obtain before start date)
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP)
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience practicing as a psychiatric NP (post-certification)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Comfortable with IV administration and patient monitoring
  • Strong documentation, critical thinking, and independent clinical judgment

Preferred:

  • Experience with ketamine infusion therapy, Spravato (esketamine), procedural sedation, or IV infusion services
  • Certified or trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), CBT, ACT, EMDR, or other evidence-based psychotherapy modalities
  • Licensed or license-eligible for independent psychotherapy practice in Tennessee
  • Background in outpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, or pain management
  • Outpatient or private practice experience
  • Familiarity with collaborative practice agreements in Tennessee

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 (based on experience)
  • Equity ownership in the Professional Corporation (details discussed during interview)
  • Therapy Certification Bonus: PMHNPs who also hold psychotherapy certification (KAP, CBT, EMDR, ACT, or equivalent) — or who are willing to obtain KAP certification within 6 months — are eligible for a $5,000 – $10,000 signing bonus and enhanced profit-sharing terms
  • Performance bonuses tied to clinic growth
  • CEU/training allowance (including ketamine-specific certifications)
  • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
  • Paid time off
  • Flexible scheduling as patient volume builds
  • No nights, no weekends, no on-call

Why Claritiv Health?

  • Ownership opportunity — equity stake in the clinical practice, not just a paycheck
  • Ground-floor leadership — shape a clinic from the very beginning
  • Calm, therapeutic environment — manageable caseload, quality over quantity
  • Real clinical autonomy — this is your practice to build
  • Full administrative support — dedicated operations team handles billing, marketing, scheduling, compliance
  • Innovative care — bring cutting-edge mental health treatment to a community that needs it
  • No burnout model — Monday through Friday, no nights, no weekends, no call
