As an Armed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will control access, respond to calls for service, and communicate clearly with site personnel while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor cameras, intrusion alarms, and other site systems, reporting irregular conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Control the movement of vehicles and deliveries at entry points, verifying credentials and coordinating with site personnel to support orderly traffic flow and/or loading dock activity.

Minimum Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
