Job Description

Senior Associate Scientist position within the Neuroscience Therapeutic Research Center focused on in vivo pharmacology studies. The role involves conducting mouse pharmacology experiments, stereotaxic surgery, and analyzing pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic readouts to support neuroscience drug development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in vivo pharmacology studies in mice including dosing, tissue collection, and processing
• Perform and support stereotaxic surgical procedures in rodent models
• Execute and analyze PK/PD assays including qPCR, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and physiology measurements
• Coordinate activities with internal team members, cross-functional groups, and external contract research organizations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of research experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years experience
• Extensive mouse handling experience including common dosing routes and tissue collection
• Proficiency in molecular biology or biochemical assays such as qPCR and Western blot
• Background in mouse genetics and/or neuroanatomy
• Experience with rodent stereotaxic surgery
• Strong organizational and communication skills with scientific rigor

Compensation: $105,040 - $127,287
