Your Role as Senior Project Manager:
This senior leadership position focuses on the education division , managing complex commercial construction projects from start to finish. You will oversee multiple Project Managers, provide technical and strategic direction, and ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality project delivery. This is both a hands-on and client-facing role that involves business development and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of education-sector projects including schedule, cost, quality, safety, and contract compliance
Oversee and support Project Managers and field teams on active projects
Serve as the key liaison with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
Attend and lead client meetings, prepare project status updates, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction
Handle permit coordination, bid reviews, RFIs, submittals, and contract negotiations
Review and analyze project documents, AIA billing, budgets, and schedules
Identify and mitigate risk while driving projects to completion
Represent the company in presentations and client pitches
Qualifications:
7+ years of commercial construction project management experience, preferably with K-12 or higher education projects
Proven ability to lead project teams and manage complex schedules and budgets
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, plans, specs, and AIA documentation
Comfortable with electronic reporting and modern construction software
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
Experience with Procore and Timberline is a plus
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or similar preferred (not required)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. – no current or future visa sponsorship available
