Technical Consultant

Location: New York (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI and data platform modernization initiatives for enterprise Life Sciences clients.
• Conduct executive workshops, solution discovery sessions, and architecture reviews with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Design scalable cloud-native data platforms using AWS and Databricks.
• Define enterprise data architecture, governance frameworks, metadata management, lineage, and data quality standards.
• Develop scalable analytical data models supporting AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
• Translate business requirements into enterprise architecture and technical roadmaps.
• Guide engineering teams through architecture, implementation, and best practices.
• Drive cloud migration, platform modernization, and enterprise data transformation initiatives.
• Support client growth through technical consulting, solution development, and proposal activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, data science, and business functions.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, AI, or Enterprise Analytics.
• 5+ years of consulting experience supporting Life Sciences, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology organizations.
• Strong experience designing enterprise data platforms using AWS and Databricks.
• Expertise with Python, Spark, SQL, dbt, and modern cloud-native data architectures.
• Experience with enterprise data governance, metadata management, lineage, observability, and data quality frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of cloud migration, distributed computing, and modern data platform design.
• Experience building scalable AI and Machine Learning data foundations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present solutions to executive leadership.
• Experience leading globally distributed delivery teams.

• Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences consulting.

• Enterprise architecture leadership.
• Executive client advisory.
• RFP/RFI support.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Modern cloud migration strategies.
