Schedule: Monday - Friday (8hr Days)
Pay Rate: $28 - $35
Location: Hillsboro OR
Position Type: Full Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support engineering teams in updating existing process documentation and developing new specifications and work instructions
• Collaborate onsite with client teams in a fast-paced environment, utilizing client systems and tools
• Review and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of documentation; manage revision and approval workflows
• Create, maintain, and continuously improve process documentation, forms, and knowledge assets
• Partner with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to align documentation standards and practices
• Organize and maintain document repositories while researching products, services, and technologies to support accurate documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a technical writer or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Be able to produce high quality documentation and procedural material for multiple audiences, paying meticulous attention to details
• May require sitting at a desk/computer for extended periods

Preferences:  

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Be able to communicate and collaborate with engineers to understand details.
• Semiconductor experience preferred.

 

Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
