Overview
Surgical Tech travel assignment in a hospital setting in Rochester, NY. Start date: 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,246–$1,323 per week. Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/evenings/nights). Guaranteed hours: none. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for a wide range of surgical cases, maintaining sterile technique and proper instrument counts
- Prepare operating rooms, set up instrument tables, drapes, and establish sterile fields; pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team
- Support robotic-assisted procedures using two DaVinci systems and coordinate with multi-service teams
- Assist with transplant procedures involving liver, kidney, and heart cases as assigned; help manage intraoperative equipment and specimens
- Maintain equipment, manage room turnover, and ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to optimize intraoperative workflow across multiple specialties

Requirements
- NBSTSA certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience; operating room experience in a level 1 trauma setting highly desired
- Able to scrub and assist in a variety of surgical cases
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
- Eligible to work in a hospital operating room in the stated location; adaptability to rotating 12-hour shifts
