C++ Software Engineer

Chicago and New York City - Onsite

About The Role:

As our Software Engineer, you’ll build end-to-end trading systems for the Prediction Markets desk—covering exchange connectivity, strategy logic, real-time pricing pipelines, and position/risk management—from idea to production.

What You’ll Do:

• Build exchange connectivity for prediction market venues
• Partner with traders and researchers to implement strategies
• Develop infrastructure to capture market opportunities
• On products end-to-end, from prototype to production
• Work across greenfield and legacy systems (C++, Java)
• Provide on-call support as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in CS, Math, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of C++ and proficiency across multiple languages
• Experience with Linux, concurrency, and high-throughput systems
• Background in financial, crypto, or prediction markets is preferred
• Proven ability to scope and deliver production systems in fast-paced environments
• Experience with exchange connectivity (market data, order routing), ideally in the cloud
• Familiarity with real-time data and multi-venue systems
• Understanding of trading operations (order lifecycle, PNL, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on simplicity and risk awareness
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
