We are looking for an experienced Plater Boilermaker Rope Access to join offshore project in USA.This role involves offshore structural fabrication, plate fitting, and installation. It requires interpreting complex drawings, preparing welds, and delivering precise fit‑up in safety‑critical oil & gas environments.

Function Description

This position is ideal for experienced offshore professionals with strong expertise in plate fitting, boilermaking, and rope access operations. The role combines technical execution in structural fabrication, weld preparation, and high‑accuracy fit‑up with strict safety supervision during offshore construction and maintenance activities on vessels and platforms.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

• Perform structural steel fabrication and assembly on offshore platforms and vessels
• Carry out plate cutting, forming, and rolling for installation and repair projects
• Execute offshore installation, repair, and modification of structural components
• Prepare welds and provide support for coded welders to ensure high‑accuracy fit‑up
• Utilize rope access techniques to perform tasks in difficult‑to‑reach areas safely and efficiently
• Conduct structural inspections and report on defects or required corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work systems and offshore safety protocols
• Perform tasks in confined spaces and at height with strict adherence to safety standards
• Maintain awareness of rigging and lifting operations to support safe load handling

Requirements

Technical Knowledge:

• Structural steel fabrication and assembly techniques
• Plate cutting, forming, and rolling for offshore applications
• Weld preparation and support for coded welders
• Offshore installation, repair, and modification of structural components
• Rope access systems for work at height and confined spaces
• Rigging and lifting awareness for safe load handling
• Knowledge of safety standards and Permit to Work compliance in oil & gas environments

• IRATA Level 1/2/3 (if held)
• Confined Space
