Responsibilities
- Implement components of patient care under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Obtain data related to treatments provided and document progress.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to modify care plans as needed.
- Assist patients across the lifespan in treatment, including guidance on stretches and exercises for targeted muscle groups.
- Read and apply instructions from the Physical Therapist.
- Work directly with the Physical Therapist to support patient care and outcomes.
- Communicate with families to identify at-home techniques and progress strategies.
- Keep the therapy area clean, organized, and ready for use.
- Assist with mobility tasks, moving patients from wheelchairs or walkers to therapeutic areas as appropriate.
- Complete administrative tasks (scheduling appointments, filing paperwork) to support clinic operations.
- Teach patients techniques such as balance training and safe mobility strategies.

Requirements
- Active Missouri PTA license (required)
- Minimum 1 year PTA experience (required)
- LTC or Rehab experience (required)
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and collaborate with a PT team
- Submission requirements: PTA license must be submitted at the posted rate; if a requested rate is higher, candidate will be redirected
